Before dedicating himself entirely to the world of collectible design, Demetrio spent more than a decade as a professional theatre actor, travelling throughout Italy. Those years nurtured his sensitivity to form, proportion, and artistic expression—qualities that would later shape his distinctive approach to collecting and curating. Guided by curiosity and an uncompromising eye for authenticity, he began seeking out iconic furniture, rare lighting, and remarkable objects that embody the history and spirit of 20th-century design.
Over the years, Demos Mobilia has grown into an internationally respected gallery specialising in original Italian and European design. Every piece is personally selected for its historical significance, exceptional craftsmanship, and timeless aesthetic, reflecting a philosophy that values quality over quantity and lasting cultural importance over passing trends.

From an early age, Veruska developed a natural sensitivity to beauty, proportion, and the emotional power of objects. After an initial career in graphic design, she chose to devote herself entirely to the world of historic and 20th-century design, where her creative background evolved into a distinctive curatorial approach shaped by harmony, authenticity, and exceptional craftsmanship.
At Demos Mobilia, Veruska carefully curates a collection of original Italian and European design, selecting pieces that combine historical significance with enduring aesthetic value.
