Designed over 80 years ago by Alvar and Aino Aalto, the legendary Savoy restaurant in Helsinki is back to shine in the new guise conceived by Ilse Crawford in collaboration with Fondazione Aalto and Artek.
The English designer has dusted off the original, smoky and masculine tablecloth, mole carpeting, grey armchairs with quoio details, a classic black and white striped fabric for the long convivial bench. Even the flowers are still arranged in the Savoy vases as Aino wanted.
