As most items are vintage furniture, modernariato pieces, and collectible design objects, each piece may present unique characteristics related to its history, age, and natural signs of time.

Demos Mobilia guarantees maximum transparency and assistance throughout every stage of the purchasing process, providing detailed information and personalized consultancy before order confirmation.

PLACING YOUR ORDER
Confirming a purchase

Once a customer confirms interest in purchasing an item, the piece may be reserved for a maximum period of 10 days, unless otherwise agreed with Demos Mobilia.

A reservation does not constitute a final sale until full payment has been received.

After this period, if payment or final confirmation has not been received, Demos Mobilia reserves the right to make the item available again.

PAYMENT
Payment methods

Payment must be completed within 7 days from order confirmation.

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • cash payment at the gallery.

Any specific payment arrangements must be agreed upon in advance with Demos Mobilia.

Ownership of the item is transferred to the customer only after full payment has been received.

Demos Mobilia does not guarantee exact delivery times, final shipping costs, or the operational procedures of third-party carriers, which may vary according to destination and logistics conditions.

SHIPPING RECEIPT
Receiving the shipment and checking the package

Demos Mobilia pays the utmost attention to the safety of packaging and transportation. However, in exceptional cases, damage may occur during shipping.

Shipments are insured whenever possible. In order to benefit from insurance coverage, customers must carefully follow the correct receiving procedure.

Upon delivery:

  • Carefully check the external condition of the packaging.In case of visible damage, request delivery with reservation of inspection from the carrier.Take photographs of the package before opening if any damage is visible.Open the package immediately and check the condition of the item.Keep all packaging materials until the inspection process has been completed.Report any damage within and no later than 36 hours from delivery, providing:
  • detailed photographs;
  • a description of the damage;
  • images of both the external and internal packaging.

    Failure to follow this procedure may compromise the possibility of obtaining insurance compensation.

RETURNS
Return policy

All purchases made through Demos Mobilia are considered final.

As the gallery specializes in vintage furniture, historic pieces, and collectible design objects, every purchase is made based on the information provided by the gallery and the customer’s prior knowledge of the item’s condition.

If issues are discovered regarding the condition of the item that were not previously communicated or included in the information provided online, the customer may request a return within 2 days from receipt of the product.

In the event of an approved return:

  • the customer is responsible for return shipping costs;
  • the customer is responsible for ensuring suitable packaging;
  • any damage occurring during return transportation will be the responsibility of the customer.

Returns will not be accepted for reasons related to characteristics already communicated, visible, or consistent with the vintage and historic nature of the item.
