Emerging in the post-war period, Stilnovo became a pioneer of Italian design, specializing in floor lamps, table lamps, pendant lights, and wall lamps that combine functionality, minimalist aesthetics, and innovative materials. The company collaborated with some of the most important 20th-century designers, including Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Joe Colombo, Gae Aulenti, Livio Castiglioni, Danilo and Corrado Aroldi, Ettore Sottsass, and Antonio Macchi Cassia, creating lamps that have become true icons of mid-century lighting design.
