Biography
The Poggi furniture factory was founded in 1940 as a family carpentry business, renowned for its designer furniture since the 1950s and active until the end of the 2000s.
Its golden age came in the early 1950s, when its partnership with architect Franco Albini proved crucial, leading to the production of iconic pieces such as the “Tre Pezzi” armchair and the “Cavalletto” table, as well as collaborations with other great designers such as Vico Magistretti, Marco Zanuso, Afra and Tobia Scarpa, and Renzo Piano.
