Biography
In the 20th century, the FR (Fratelli Reguitti) brand (1946–1966) was synonymous with quality and elegance. Founded in Agnosine in 1955, for more than 50 years, until the end of the 1970s, it was the company that more than any other shaped the history of Italian multipurpose furniture. To understand the significance of the Reguitti phenomenon, it is enough to consider that in twenty years of activity, from 1946 to 1966, Reguitti (with the trademark “FR”) registered more than 124 patents, ranking third behind Gucci and Pirelli, ahead of companies of the caliber of Fiat and Magneti Marelli. Over the years, it has worked with leading Italian designers, including the well-known Gio Ponti and Ico Parisi.
