François Azambourg is one of the leaders of the contemporary movement in French interior design. Fascinated by the IDEA of “light as material,” he creates suggestive and magical pieces using unusual techniques and materials which are both strong and light simultaneously. His seatings collection, for example, introduces simple metal elements that become infinitely more interesting when combined with the internal polyurethane foam and the “crumpled” texture of the surfaces.
