Biography
Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta. The company was born in the context of reconstruction, aiming to redefine modern lighting with its name (“new style”).
Design Pioneer: It was among the first to bring together Italian industrial design with international architects and designers, earning recognition such as medals at the Milan Triennale and a Compasso d’Oro award.
Great Collaborators: Stilnovo has hosted big names in design, including Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Joe Colombo, Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti, De Pas-D’Urbino-Lomazzi, and Antonio Macchi Cassia.
