A graduate of the \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des Arts D\u00e9coratifs, he began his career training under renowned masters such as Maxime Old and Ren\u00e9 Gabriel, developing a style rooted in the use of natural wood. As early as 1953, his creations were exhibited at the prestigious Salon des Artistes D\u00e9corateurs and Arts M\u00e9nagers.<\/p>\n
Driven by a passion for innovation, Monpoix soon turned his attention to industrial production. In 1956, he designed a series of revolutionary chairs for Editions TV, combining metal tubes with rubber cords: a symbol of his commitment to reconciling modernity and mass production.
